h1(#wxkeymodifier). Key Modifiers KeyModifiers are a set of Ruby integer constants that represent modifying control keys that may be pressed alongside normal keys. These values may be returned, for example, by methods in "KeyEvent":keyevent.html. h2(#keymodifiers). Key Modifier Constants The following key modifier constants are defined:

    MOD_NONE      = 0x0000,
    MOD_ALT       = 0x0001,
    MOD_CONTROL   = 0x0002,
    MOD_ALTGR     = MOD_ALT | MOD_CONTROL,
    MOD_SHIFT     = 0x0004,
    MOD_META      = 0x0008,
    MOD_ALL       = 0xffff
    MOD_CMD       = Platform Specific

*Note:* On Mac OS X, @MOD_CMD@ is the same as @MOD_META@, while on other platforms, it is the same as @MOD_CONTROL@. In portable code, @MOD_CMD@ should be used instead of @MOD_CONTROL@ to account for the fact that although the @Control@ modifier exists under Mac OS X, it is not used for the same purpose as under Windows or Unix. h2.
